MDXC was built with one purpose - to give high school runners of all abilities the best cross country experience possible. We also hope to give those who support these athletes a great experience on race day.

Please take a few minutes to review the information below. We understand race morning can be hectic, and nobody wants to miss the race they came to watch. Following the procedures below will get you where you need to be as quickly as possible!

9:00 AM - “Black & Gold” Varsity Boys Race

9:30 AM - “Black & Gold” Varsity Girls Race

10:00 AM - Junior Varsity Boys Race

10:30 AM - Junior Varsity Girls Race

11:10 AM - “Black & Gold” Varsity + Junior Varsity Awards

11:30 AM - Open High School Boys & Girls Race

12:00 AM - “Red & White” Varsity Boys Race

12:30 PM - “Red & White” Varsity Girls Race

1:10 PM - “Red & White” Varsity + Open Awards

1:30 PM - Vendor Breakdown & Exit

1:45 PM - Last Shuttle Departs Shawan Downs for Remote Parking

VENUE

The Shawan Downs property is beautiful, and an amazing setting to watch high school cross country. The map below outlines several key areas, including the Race Merchandise tent within the spectator viewing area on Founders Hill.

Please be sure to read the section below on setup & parking carefully to avoid headaches on race day!

PARKING & SETUP

When entering the venue at the main entrance (Map Here) please let race staff know you are a retail vendor. Please do not plan on entering the property at any other entrance.

Retail vendors will be able to park next to the Race Merchandise Tent (opposite side from the food truck and dining area). Vehicles should not need to move as all setup is within a few hundred feet from the parking area.

Charm City Run will provide you with one 6’ table. Please plan on bringing a tent, giveaways if you have them, and anything else you may need. It will likely be dark when you arrive, so plan accordingly!
